Self - Love : Come Fall In Love With Yourself

What is Self-Love? Many people mistakenly believe that self-love is the s ame as selfishness,  or having a b ig ego. It’s not.   So, what do we mean when we say “self-love”? Self-love means having a high regard for your own well-being and happiness.  Self-love is not simply a state of feeling good.  Self-love means taking care of your own needs and not sacrificing your well-being to please others. Self-love means not settling for less than you deserve.  Loving yourself doesn’t mean you think you’re the smartest, most talented, and most beautiful person in the world. Instead, when you love yourself you accept your so-called weaknesses, appreciate these so-called shortcomings as something that makes you who you are. When you love yourself you have compassion for yourself. You take care of yourself like you’d take care of a friend who is in stress. You treat yourself kindly. You don’t criticize yourself. Self-love is a practice and it’s a skill that takes work. Self-love is something that

Feminism is Not a Dirty Word

What is Feminism
A lot of you have all kinds of questions, confusion, misinterpretations of what feminism is all about. Is feminism anti-men? is feminism against the institution of marriage? is feminism about angry women shouting slogans? or is an alien concept and doesn't have any relevance in our country. If you look up the definition of “Feminism” in the dictionary, you’ll see these statements:
Feminism is:
1. The advocacy of women’s rights on the basis of the equality of the sexes

2. The theory of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes

3. The belief that men and women should have equal rights and opportunities

4. The doctrine advocating social, political, and all other rights of women equal to those of men

There's a big difference between the perception of what feminism is and the truth of what it means. Feminism means everyone is treated fairly and with respect. Feminism is not anti-anything, it's pro-equality. Feminism means believing that women and men are equal and deserve equal rights.  If you agree with that, you’re a feminist.

To me, feminism empowers women to achieve their goals, whatever they may be. It's a positive force in their lives. It's being who you are-being the woman that you are, without fears of judgment or a joke. It's being successful, not in a materialistic way, but in the way you want to be. It's about doing what you want to do in life, fighting for what you want, not waiting for others to give you what you need. There are still obstacles for women in doing that.

It’s critical to understand that the “same” does not mean “equal.” The issue here is about equal rights and equal access to opportunities.  Men and women don’t have to be the “same” in physicality to have the right to equality.

Feminism is a social movement and ideology that fights for the political, economic, and social rights for women. Feminists believe that men and women are equal, and women deserve the same rights as men in society. The feminist movement has fought for many different causes, such as the right for women to vote, the right to work, and the right to live free from violence.

Myths about Feminism
1. Feminists hate men.
2. Feminists are angry.
3. Feminists are unattractive and not feminine.
4. All feminists are lesbians.
5. Feminists are all pro-choice.
6. If you are a feminist, you cannot be religious.
7. All feminists are career women and do not support stay-at-home moms.
8. Feminists are Bra- Burners who hate sex.
9. Feminists can only be women.
10. Feminists don’t believe in marriage.

Why do so many hate the term feminism and the feminist movement?
I believe there are some critical reasons for this:
Many people believe that feminists want to control the world and put men down.
Many people fear that feminism will mean that men will eventually lose out – of power, influence, impact, authority, and control, and economic opportunities.
Many people fear that feminism will bring about negative shifts in relationships, marriage, society, culture, power and authority dynamics, and in business, job and economic opportunities if and when women are on an equal footing with men.

Why we need feminism
For many years women have been discriminated against, for various reasons they have been denied basic rights delegated to thankless jobs and treated as second-class citizens. Women have not had much representation and have had to fight hard to get their voices heard. Even in today's time women are paid less than their male counterparts for similar jobs and are victims of sexual misconduct inside and outside of the workplace. Women have tirelessly continued to fight their equal rights and have recently been rewarded for their hard work. The feminist movement has taken many different forms throughout the years but their goal has never changed women's empowerment recently other minorities and even majority demographics have become more vocal of women's struggle and championing for their rights more companies are beginning to see women taken positions in leadership roles and business, actors, athletics, and other influential people are starting to demand that women receive the same payment men received for similar roles. This shift in power is learning the feminist movement in the right direction events such as the formation of the women's suffrage association.

What Feminism Want
Actually, feminism is a very liberating idea. It is asking for equality, equality between men and women, equality of rights and entitlements, equality in our gender roles inside the house and outside the house, feminists are asking for equality of all men and women, for all men and women across all social divisions, racial division, divisions created by color, by faith, by religion. So in short feminism is asking for just an equitable society that will encompass every single person.

Connect Yourself With Nature

Feel The Nature   Sit under a tree without anything to do, feel the winds, the fragrance of flowers, the light of the sun hit your skin. Realize everything happens for you only, only to make you feel good. Sit in the sun without anything to do, feel the heat of the rays hit your skin, realize that this sunlight has traveled a very long way to reach you. Walk around barefoot and try to feel as much as you can, the ground under your feet, notice every rock and blade of grass. Drive around aimlessly and play your favorite song, enjoy the drive. As they change the air in your throat and around you, feel that the music is healing you from inside out. Now you are going to understand the meaning of the song's lyrics. Look up at the stars and the moon, understand how small we are and how immense the universe is, realize what a miracle everything is, let your heart swell with amazement and admiration for life itself. Walk with your eyes and ears open. Hear and listen the nature, the music h

Forgive Yourself And Move On

All of us make mistakes at times. We all make mistakes. Oftentimes, through our actions, somebody gets hurt. As humans, we’re imperfect. It’s helpful to remember that mistakes, failures, and even incredibly stupid acts are part of being human. It’s how we learn and grow. If you’re never embarrassed or wrong and if you never make a mistake, you’re probably staying within a pretty narrow comfort zone. The trick is to learn and move on from our mistakes. As painful and uncomfortable as it may feel, there are things in life that are worth enduring the pain for in order to move forward, and forgiving yourself is one of them. We hear a lot about the importance of forgiving those who have harmed us, but what about forgiving ourselves? Is that important as well? I believe that it is. Many of us know that forgiveness is a good thing, right? It frees us from bitterness and anger, these two emotions that not only don’t feel good but can also disrupt our physical health and mental health as well
